About the Founders

chris rennolds

Producing Artistic Director

Chris has enjoyed a varied and successful career as an actress in television and theatre and has served as a producer in both of these venues. Chris was one of the founding artists and directors of Access Theatre, a company in the forefront of providing opportunities in the theatre arts for both disabled artists and audiences.  Access Theatre toured nationally, including playing the Kennedy Center. She was a founding board member of The Dream Foundation, the only national organization to grant wishes to terminally ill adults.

Chris spent three years as the producing associate at Rubicon Theater Company in Ventura, California, where she developed the very successful Plays in Progress series. The series brought new playwrights from around the country to hear their plays read by professional actors and receive feedback. Before moving to Bend, Oregon, Chris spent a year as a consultant with 2 Los Angeles theatres seeking to raise the level of their work and their impact on their communities.
